Hey, I’m Emily!

I live in Virginia Beach with my husband, our human child, and our two cat children. My stories feature strong female characters and the family, friends, and partners who love them. Using writing to help process my own grief after the unexpected loss of my sister, I hope my stories help others find the light, even in darkness.

When I’m not at my desk, I work as a physical therapist, rehabilitating patients post-operatively and women postpartum.
